The following Terms & Conditions specifies adVerus policies and actions allowed by adVerus to the users of its services, including using bulk SMS for you or reselling bulk SMS from adVerus by using our API web script.
1. Terms:
SMS: Short Message Service;
User: a person, or a company, that uses the services of adVerus ;
Reseller: a person, or a company, that resells the services of adVerus ;
Service: it is both using bulk SMS Service, and reselling bulk SMS Service;
Recipient: a person who receives the SMS message from you, the user of our services;
2. Ilegal use:
The services of adVerus may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, distribution, or storage of any illegal material is strictly prohibited. adVerus will not be held responsible for any law-breaking acts committed by their users.
3. Limitation on service:
As a user of adVerus services, you are able to send bulk SMS messages to your recipients.
As a reseller of adVerus services, you are able to:
• Edit the template of the web script, and use it in the way you want, as long as it uses our services. You cannot use our web script to use other company’s services;
• Personalize your website, logo, web address (domain name) the way you want;
• Use your brand name as a provider of the services;
4. Your obligations:
As our services user, you will be responsible to:
• Maintain the integrity of our services;
• If you want to resell our services, it is your responsibility to build up the website, and acquire a domain name;
• Behave by our rules and comply with our terms and conditions;
• Keep your username and password safe to prevent any security issues to your account;
5. Length of SMS:
You are allowed to send a text message that has up to 160 characters. If you want to send a longer message, you have to split it into two parts and send it as separate messages.
6. SMS guidelines:
• It is against the law to post or transmit any information that might occur to be unlawful, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent information. Therefore, such action will be considered as breaking the law;
• You are not allowed to use adVerus services to promote any organization, brand, company , or name, besides your own organization, brand, company, or name;
• adVerus does not control, neither does it supervise the content of the SMS messages sent, and, therefore, will not be held responsible for any unlawful content;
• Spamming is strictly prohibited and adVerus does NOT allow spamming in any form;
7. Payments & Refunds:
• The only two acceptable payment methods are PayPal and Moneybookers. No other methods will be accepted for payments to be made;
• adVerus will charge you to pay taxes as applicable to the service;
• The fees paid for the service are a subject to change, and adVerus has a right to change the fees at any time;
• You will have to pay before using the services;
• adVerus has no refund policy, which means that you will not be refunded money that you put on your account;
• New clients payments can be moved to "quarantine" state for 2-3 days to check it is good payment and not fraud. After check it can be marked to "payed" or "error" state;
All terms can be modificed without any information confirmation.
